Hexagon Providing Brand New One & Two Bed Apartments From £61,650

Hexagon Housing Association is a locally focused and community based organisation working to meet housing and care needs in South East London. In addition to managing 3,377 homes mainly across five London boroughs (Bexley, Croydon, Greenwich, Lewisham and Southwark), we provide over 500 supported housing bed spaces and manage three nursing homes.

Brand new homes

The majority of the properties are for general needs tenants and are managed directly by Hexagon. Some of our properties are managed by the tenants themselves through housing co-operatives.

Hexagon is committed to:

  • Providing affordable homes (via rents and shared ownership opportunities);

  • Investing in our older stock to improve its condition (in 2007 we spent over £4m, increased from £2.3m in 2006);

  • Promoting a sustainable programme of growth;

  • Fairness and equality in providing jobs and homes;

  • Participation in our work of people affected by what we do – e.g. tenants, staff, local communities (e.g. one third of our Board are Tenants, regular focus groups are held with tenants to discuss key areas for improvement);

  • Performing our work better than before and continuously improving our services (e.g. improvements to the appointments system for reporting repairs, residents are now able to view their rent accounts on line, new computer system that allows queries to be dealt with more efficiently by our Customer Services team).

Parkspring Court is a development of 52 one and two bed apartments available on a shared ownership basis to first time buyers resident in south east London. This landmark development is at the centre of Bexley Council’s regeneration of Erith and has attracted a great deal on interest and we have already sold 27 apartments.

Tower Mill Road is also attracting strong interest because of it’s location in a very desirable quiet setting on the borders of Peckham and Camberwell. Consisting of seven 1-bedrooms, five 2-bedroom and a rare three bed apartments we are confident that demand will be strong for these homes.

To qualify for these homes purchasers must be first time buyers who are able to raise a mortgage, but are unable to afford a home on the open market. Prospective buyers need to have a household income of at least £24,500.

Hexagon tenants will be given priority, so if you meet the criteria and are interested in shared ownership then this could be your opportunity to buy your own home. For more information contact customer services representatives on tel-020 8778 6699 or email sales@hexagon.org.uk
